Junior First Aid Assistant

Junior First Aid Assistant Course JFAAss

The aim of the Junior First Aid Assistant Course is to give youngsters practical tips and knowledge of how to deal with an emergency. This includes, how to raise the alarm and who to contact, how to stop a minor bleed such as a cut or nosebleed, and how to deal with more serious bleeding by applying pressure bandages. The recovery position (why, when & how) is also covered as is how to deal with choking and the shock position.

The course is designed for maximum learning impact and through fun, practical exercises and role play games, participants are able to practice scenarios to ensure as much information is retained as possible.

At the end of each course participants will receive a course confirmation from Frogs. This is a requirement when becoming a member of the Frogs Sea Swim Club and especially if swimmers wish to advance to Sea Swim Coach level.
